Since its founding in 1966 by Komm. Rat Rudolf Kadanka in Baden near Vienna, the Austrian private company Mondial GmbH & Co. KG has grown into one of Austria’s largest private travel companies, thanks to the dedication of its employees. With a clear focus on the highest quality of services offered, the company has evolved from a single employee in its founding year to a medium-sized business currently employing 145 staff members from 15 different nations. In addition to its headquarters in Baden, Mondial has branches in Vienna as well as offices in Düsseldorf, Prague, Budapest, Berlin, and in the congress sector, also in Barcelona.
From the very beginning, and now in its second generation, the family itself has managed the company and has consistently shown positive results in its success story. This is a remarkable exception in an industry often plagued by crises. These exceptional contributions to the Austrian economy were recognized in June 2007 with the awarding of the Federal Coat of Arms. In 2015, the company was also honored by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce with the Austrian Export Award in Gold, recognizing its significant contribution to the export economy.
