I prefer summer and enjoy going for walks on the Kahlenberg, followed by a glass of wine at one of the cozy Heurigen, taking in the beautiful view of the city. I also like to stay active in Vienna – especially cycling on the Danube Island, often combined with a barbecue. Sometimes, I even go on a longer ride all the way to Bratislava, with a relaxing stop at Schloss Hof along the way. In winter, I trade wine for mulled wine – but my absolute favorite sport is skiing! I haven’t explored all the ski resorts in Austria yet, but I really enjoyed Dachstein West, and the 9 km downhill run in Krippenstein was a real highlight – with a breathtaking view of Hallstatt.
